I LOVE everything about this place. Innovative menu, Great decor, Awesome music...and don't let me get started on the drinks. I am a sucker for a well-made cocktail and this place delivers for sure! The Korean ribs were meaty and tender. I loved the pork ring take on the nachos. My friends loved their meals and we especially loved our waitress. I wish I remembered her name because I would definitely given her a personal shout-out. She was so helpful and genuine when we were trying to figure out our way around the menu. I recommend everyone to visit!

You should eat here. This place has fantastic food, but staff could benefit from some training. I have no idea why this place isn't busier than it is, because the food is legit and there really isn't anything too close to compete with them. The fried chicken is first brined before they magically bread and fry it. It comes out so hot, it was still uncomfortable to eat after 10 minutes. The tender, full flavored collard greens helped fill the time though. I was surprised the greens didn't have a smoke element to them (given their BBQ joint) but they were delicious just the same. They have off menu fried pig skins and they should be ordered! Salt, pepper, and their house hot sauce make them a light, crunchy, delightful appetizer. Apparently they are combining their BBQ location into this spot so will temporarily close sometime in December and reopen in January. I can't wait to see the new combined menu! Eat. Here.

We hadn't found much in the way of non chain restaurants in St. Petersburg or the Tampa area in general in our recent visit, so we were happy when we got a recommend from our fishing guide Anthony. He raved about their grits with pork belly and I was beyond anxious to try, but alas it was removed from the menu, dang it! On the upside, the comfort food establishment, ran very eccentrically and stylishly out of a former service station, complete with garage doors and bocci courts is urban cool. Its also in a great arts neighborhood with antique stores. Back to the food, We started with the fried Mac & Cheese balls, rich and tasty. They really know how to fry chicken, brined and delicious, I ordered the 2 piece and it was a deal at $9.50 came with authentic southern greens and a phenomenal biscuit with a honey better, yum! More than enough, I couldn't finish. My husband ordered the Roast Beef sandwich, smothered with melted cheddar cheese and caramelized onions, and topped with chili aioli probably should be toned down a bit, too many onions overpower the sandwich, and the aioli made it too moist. The craft beer selection is great, lots of pilsner like ales, perfect for cutting the thick Florida humidity. I definitely can recommend the fried chicken and the cool vibe at Urban, they also serve a little later than most.

It's an old gas station repurposed as a comfort food, craft cocktail, craft beer shuffle board gem. I grabbed a drink before the elite yoga event across the street and I was not disappointed I. The old fashioned, strong flavor for days and the bartender was chatty and nice. Even have me a new beer group that's national for Bryt to join. I came back after the event ( I tipped 58% voluntarily to park there) and had a meal( see pics) the fried chicken dark made wanna slap my mammy! Collards are the closest thing to perfection around these parts. And the biscuit and homemade honey butter and crazy good. So do yourself a favor and swing in to the old gas station and fill up.

This is URBAN restaurant series with southern cuisine. I have hit all URBAN restaurants in one day except the deli. This one is somehow unique because they are in a modified garage to restaurant. The seating included bar, outside Shuffle board and the regular restaurant inside seating. Urban Comfort has good southern food selection. We got the chicken waffles. The dish come with two pieces southern fried chicken. You can add two more pieces for additional $4. It serve over Belgium waffle with power sugar on top. The chicken are well marinated. I have not seen a marinated sauce go deep into the meat. It is delicious. This restaurant is solid 4 stars. It is not 3.5 stars make 4 stars. Service is good. While we were there we got the free 5 oz beer by Yelp checking. I have selected the coconut milk stout. It has good coffee flavor and burn smoke flavor. The stout is good to enjoy.

Very cool atmosphere. The place used to be a gas station. There are booths and tables inside and community benches out on the patio Service was good, all of the servers work all of the tables and share tips so its easy to get something as you can ask anyone working Food was great, mac and cheese balls, fried green tomatoes, chicken and waffles! All of it was delicious. They also have some tasty beers too. It's a great spot to chill out. They have huge shuffleboards too. Will definitely be coming back. Check out the photos I posted also.

I started out with Mac and cheese balls. These were amazing. Crunchy on the outside and cheesey on the inside. They used Gouda which melts really nice inside. These came in a spicy aoili which was a very good compliment. Next I had the short rib sandwich with comfort fries. The sandwich had crispy onion straws and a bourbon onion marmalade on it. This was all very good but I couldn't really taste the marmalade. some more of that would have given it a nice sweetness. The fried were dusted with a bbq seasoning. I tried several beers and they were all good. My favorite was a hefeweizen. This had a nice fruit flavor. Mostly orange was what I got from it.
